Terms of Service

The short version. GigSlip is a record-keeping tool for gig drivers. It's $9.99 CAD a month after a 14-day free trial, you can cancel anytime, and it's not tax advice.

Your account

You need an account to use GigSlip, and you're responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of what you record. One account per person. You must be 18 or older.

Subscription and billing

• New accounts get a 14-day free trial with full access.
• After the trial, GigSlip Pro is $9.99 CAD per month, billed monthly in advance.
• Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from Settings; access continues until the end of the period you've paid for.
• We don't provide refunds for partial months or unused time.
• If we change the price, we'll tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

Not tax advice

GigSlip organizes your receipts, shifts and totals so tax time is easier. It doesn't file your taxes and isn't a substitute for an accountant. Tax estimates in the app are estimates only — always confirm your return with a tax professional.

Acceptable use

Don't upload anything you don't have the right to upload, don't try to break or overload the service, and don't use GigSlip to record fraudulent records. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your content

Your receipts, shifts and photos stay yours. You give us permission only to store and process them so the app can work for you. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep GigSlip running and your records safe, but the service is provided as-is without warranties. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Keep your own backups of anything critical — you can export your records anytime.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel or delete your account anytime. We may end an account that breaks these terms. On deletion, your data is removed from our systems.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
